What’s in your medicine cabinet? Chances are good you’ll find multiple prescriptions, a few over-the-counter drugs and a handful of supplements or “natural” medications. The collection will likely grow as you age and other medical problems set in. In fact, more than 85% of heart failure patients have two or more additional chronic medical problems, more than 50% have four or more and 25% have six or more. That can add up to a lot of pills.
