In many ways, physical activity is the fountain of youth. Physically active adults ages 60 and older have a 24% to 40% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease than their peers who don’t exercise. They also age more slowly, are more likely to retain their cognitive abilities and enjoy a better quality of life.
