People who dont get enough fiber in their diets may be putting themselves at a higher risk for developing diabetes and heart disease. A study published in the American Journal of Medicine found that low-fiber diets are strongly associated with heart disease risk factors, such as obesity, inflammation and metabolic syndrome.
