I’m 89 and have moderately severe (3+) tricuspid valve regurgitation. But I enjoy a good quality of life. I have always exercised, but I’m wondering if that’s still safe, given the valve regurgitation and the higher heart rate that comes with exercise. My cardiologist says there’s no easy fix for the valve problem, and he won’t give me a definitive answer on exercise. What do you think?
