Im 89 and have moderately severe (3+) tricuspid valve regurgitation. But I enjoy a good quality of life. I have always exercised, but Im wondering if thats still safe, given the valve regurgitation and the higher heart rate that comes with exercise. My cardiologist says theres no easy fix for the valve problem, and he wont give me a definitive answer on exercise. What do you think?
