Ive read a lot about niacin and HDL cholesterol recently. It seems that taking niacin to raise HDL levels may not be as helpful as we once thought. Ive been taking it for a few years and my HDL has improved somewhat, but is it worth it? I could do without some of the uncomfortable side effects.
